The Genevan Psalter or Huguenot Psalter is a collection of metrical psalms created under the supervision of John Calvin for liturgical use by the Reformed churches of the city of Geneva in the sixteenth century, first published in 1539. The 5th edition published in 1562 was the first to contain translations of all 150 psalms.
Many of the tunes were written by Louis Bourgeois, of which the Old Hundredth is probably the most famous.
