O worship the king (Hanover) – Orchestra

O worship the King – Lyrics

O worship the King, all glorious above,
O gratefully sing His power and His love;
Our Shield and Defender, the Ancient of Days,
Pavilioned in splendor, and girded with praise.

O tell of His might, O sing of His grace,
Whose robe is the light, whose canopy space,
His chariots of wrath the deep thunderclouds form,
And dark is His path on the wings of the storm.

The earth with its store of wonders untold,
Almighty, Thy power hath founded of old;
Established it fast by a changeless decree,
And round it hath cast, like a mantle, the sea.

Thy bountiful care, what tongue can recite?
It breathes in the air, it shines in the light;
It streams from the hills, it descends to the plain,
And sweetly distills in the dew and the rain.

Frail children of dust, and feeble as frail,
In Thee do we trust, nor find Thee to fail;
Thy mercies how tender, how firm to the end,
Our Maker, Defender, Redeemer, and Friend.

O measureless might! Ineffable love!
While angels delight to worship Thee above,
The humbler creation, though feeble their lays,
With true adoration shall all sing Thy praise.

Onward, Christian soldiers (Saint Gertrude)

Hymn – Onward, Christian Soldiers – Lyrics

Onward, Christian soldiers, marching as to war,
With the cross of Jesus going on before.
Christ, the royal Master, leads against the foe;
Forward into battle see His banners go!

Refrain
Onward, Christian soldiers, marching as to war,
With the cross of Jesus going on before.

At the sign of triumph Satan’s host doth flee;
On then, Christian soldiers, on to victory!
Hell’s foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
Brothers lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.

Refrain
Like a mighty army moves the church of God;
Brothers, we are treading where the saints have trod.
We are not divided, all one body we,
One in hope and doctrine, one in charity.
Refrain

Crowns and thrones may perish, kingdoms rise and wane,
But the church of Jesus constant will remain.
Gates of hell can never gainst that church prevail;
We have Christ’s own promise, and that cannot fail.
Refrain

Onward then, ye people, join our happy throng,
Blend with ours your voices in the triumph song.
Glory, laud and honor unto Christ the King,
This through countless ages men and angels sing.
Refrain

Praise to the Lord, the Almighty (Lobe Den Herren)

Hymn – Praise to the Lord, the Almighty – Lyrics

Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of creation!
O my soul, praise Him, for He is thy health and salvation!
All ye who hear, now to His temple draw near;
Praise Him in glad adoration.

Praise to the Lord, who over all things so wondrously reigneth,
Shieldeth thee gently from harm, or when fainting sustaineth:
Hast thou not seen how thy heart’s wishes have been
Granted in what He ordaineth?

Praise to the Lord, who doth prosper thy work and defend thee;
Surely His goodness and mercy here daily attend thee.
Ponder anew what the Almighty can do,
If to the end He befriend thee.

Praise to the Lord, O let all that is in me adore Him!
All that hath life and breath, come now with praises before Him.
Let the Amen sound from His people again,
Gladly for aye we adore Him.

Rise and shine

Hymn – Rise and shine – Lyrics

Rise and shine and give God His glory, glory.
Rise and shine and give God His glory, glory.
Rise and shine and give God His glory, glory.
Children of the Lord

1. The Lord said to Noah: ‘There’s gonna be a floody, floody,
Lord said to Noah: ‘There’s gonna be a floody, floody,
Get those children out of the muddy, muddy, children of the Lord.’
So Noah, he built Him, he built Him an arky, arky,
Noah, he built Him, he built Him an arky, arky,
Built it out of hickory barky, barky, children of the Lord. Refrain

2. The animals, they came on, they came on, by twosies, twosies,
Animals, they came on, they came on, by twosies, twosies,
Elephants and kangaroosies, roosies, children of the Lord.
It rained and poured for forty daysies, daysies,
Rained and poured for forty daysies, daysies
Nearly drove those animals crazies, crazies, children of the Lord. Refrain

3. The sun came out and dried up the landy landy,
Sun came out and dried up the landy landy,
Ev’rything was fine and dandy, dandy, children of the Lord.
If you get to heaven before I do-sies, do-sies,
You get to heaven before I do-sies, do-sies,
Tell those angels I’m comin’ too-sies, too-sies, children of the Lord. Refrain

Spirit of God (Skye Boat Song)

Hymn – Spirit of God – Lyrics

Refrain
Spirit of God, unseen as the wind,
Gentle as is the dove;
Touch us with love and teach us to sing
Joy to you Lord above.

Your voice the sound, heard in the wind,
O’er fields and hills you sing;
Now I can hear the joy, my Lord,
the peace your song will bring.

Refrain

Love in our hearts, praise in our prayers,
We follow on your way;
Lord of the sky, Lord of the Earth,
Answer us when we pray.
