Angels Are Singing (Emmanuel Now) – Piano and SATB or Woodwind and Strings

Lyrics

1. Angels are singing high up in heaven,
Church bells are ringing on earth down below.
The world’s celebrating the birth of the Christchild.
Emmanuel, Emmanuel, Emmanuel now,
His glory does show.

2. Shepherds in fields were watching and waiting.
God’s angel singing, and all hea-vens ring.
He told them how God’s light would banish the dark-ness.
Emmanuel, Emmanuel, Emmanuel now,
All worship the king!

3. Bright star is shining high in the night sky.
Stopped o’er the stable where Jesus, He lay.
The babe in the manger, God’s love and God’s glory.
Emmanuel, Emmanuel, Emmanuel now,
All fol-low the star.

4. Softly and gently, Mary is singing,
We kneel to praise Him with Kings from afar.
The oxen are lowing, as all join in worship.
Emmanuel, Emmanuel, Emmanuel now,
Asleep in the hay.

5. Lifting our voices, we sing out praises
With heav’nly choirs our worship we bring.
We tell the great story of Jesus the Saviour.
Emmanuel, Emmanuel, Emmanuel now,
We worship our King!

Emmanuel, Emmanuel Emmanuel, Emmanuel now,
We worship our King!

Raise your hands, lift your voice,
Let your heart and soul rejoice;
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,

He’s almighty God above;
Praise the Lord . . .

Lyrics

Please note the second verse refrain is followed by a Coda.

Raise your  arms up to the sky,
Raise your hands and lift them high;
Praise the Lord in heaven above,
Praise the Lord heaven above.
Praise Him with your heart and soul,
Praise him for He’s made you whole,
Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord,
Praise the Lord in heaven above.

He’s our God, the Three-in-One,

An Angel Appeared To The Shepherds (Brycheiniog – 4 Verses) – Piano, Flute, Horn And Cello

Lyrics

An angel appeared to the shepherds
As they tended their sheep on that night,
Foretold of the birth of the Saviour,
Who would banish the dark with His Light.

He told of a sign that would guide them
To the place where the infant would lay;
For God placed a star in the heavens
As a sign on that first Christmas Day.

So leaving their sheep far behind them,
With the star shining brightly above,
They followed the sign to a stable,
Where they worshipped God’s mercy and love.

They knelt at the altar of heaven,
All their gifts and their praises did bring,
Though they saw the tiniest baby,
All their worship was poured on a King.

The miner’s song (This is Wales) – Voice and Orchestra, Male Voice Choir

The miner’s song – Lyrics

The drum of boots upon the cobbles,
Sound of sons and fathers returning home.
The cold winds blow across the valley;
Down from the mountains capped with snow.
Love lies sighing in the valley,
And my heart is waiting
Where the cold winds blow.

And this is Wales,
Land of our fathers;
This is Wales, a land with soul:
A land of glory,
Of light and darkness,
Where light is song,
And darkness is coal.

The pulse you hear along the valleys,
Sound of sons and fathers coming home;
boots that echo loud tramp firm on cobbles,
The sound of men both young and old.
Their boots are beating upon the cobbles,
Our sons and fathers returning home.

And this is Wales,
Land of our fathers;
This is Wales, a land with soul:
A land of glory,
Of light and darkness,
Where dark is coal
And light is song!
