Lord of the Harvest, Father of mercy,
Triune Jehovah, Thine be the praise;
Crowning the year with Thy goodness and mercy,
Songs of thanksgiving to Thee we’ll raise.
1. Corn we are bringing gilded with sunshine,
Gifts of the Lord to the hungry and poor.
Type of our Saviour, the true bread from heaven,
Feed us with that bread our Lord ever more.
Lord of the Harvest, Father of mercy,
Triune Jehovah, Thine be the praise;
Crowning the year with Thy goodness and mercy,
Songs of thanksgiving to Thee we’ll raise.
2. Rich blushing fruits from Thy orchard abundance,
Sweetly fulfilling the promise of Spring.
This is our offering, Father receive it,
May we be fruitful in every good thing.
