Everissa Ludena Lettsome Wheatley (1914-1993)
Everissa Ludena Lettsome Wheatley (1914-1993) or “Miss Ever” as she was commonly known, was dedicated to the East End Methodist Church, Tortola, British Virgin Isles, where she was Class 3 Leader and Poor Steward. She also assisted the Minister on his rounds to the sick and shut-ins, until she lost her sight.
She was a school teacher in the same church, and was instrumental in the Church’s development.
