Hugh Wilson (1766 – 1824) was a Scottish Composer and Mathematician, born at Fenwick (near Kilmarnock), Ayrshire, Scotland. Wilson taught maths and music and led the local choir. He also made sun dials. In 1800, he moved to the town of Pollokshaws, and later to Duntocher.
