Charles John Dickinson (1822-1883)
Rev. Charles John Dickinson (1822-1883) was an Irish composer and Anglican Clergyman who became Vicar of Bodmin, in Cornwall England. Born in Dublin he was the composer of hymn tunes and settings of Magnificat, Nunc Dimittis and Te Deum. In 1861 he compiled Hymn Tunes, Double and Single.
