Jane Elizabeth Leeson (1809 – 1881)
Jane Elizabeth Leeson (1809 – 1881), sometimes referred to as Eliza was an English Hymnist and children’s writer born at Wilford, Nottinghamshire. Late in her life she converted to Catholicism. She died in Leamington, Warwickshire. She published extensively during her lifetime, her publications including:
