Vincent Novello (1781-1861)

Vincent Novello (1781-1861) was an English composer, organist, chorister publisher, born in London. His father as  an  Italian who married an English wife., was born in London. He is best known for establishing with his son the Novello & Co publishing house bringing to Britain affordable scores of many works by major composers such as Haydn, Mozart, and Palestrina.
