Robert Williams (1781-1821)

Robert Williams (1781-1821) was a blind Welsh composer of hymns and singer born in Mynydd Ithel, Anglesey, Wales. He made his living as a basket weaver. He had a great natural musical ability and, it is said, could write out a tune after hearing it just once.
