Elizabeth Lee Smith (1817-1898), née Allen, was an American writer and daughter of Dr. W. Allen, President of Dartmouth University. She married Dr. H. B. Smith in 1843 who was to become became Professor in Union Theological Seminary, New York, in 1850.
