David John Mansell (b. 1936)

David John Mansell (b. 1936) is an English evangelist and hymnist. Educated at King’s College, London, he read physics and worked originally and as an engineer and a physicist before being called to full-time ministry, serving in London. He best known hymn ‘Jesus is Lord! Creation’s voice proclaims it’ was published first in Sound of Living Waters (1974) and in many British hymnals since.
